I spent all day yesterday trying to come up with the words to make sure I said something of substance here about the weight of National cancer survivor day.

I am almost never at a loss for words, as my family friends are very aware. But I don’t have the right words for this.

All I can say is I am blessed to celebrate my 3rd National cancer survivor day, and that I could not do it without leaning heavily on a God that loves me through the big and small stuff.

My sister helped to make me a slideshow of my 2 year battle with cancer, that I feel so grateful to be on the other side of right now. They say - pictures are worth a thousand words. If you play them with a Dolly song in the background I think they are worth millions! ❤️

If you know someone who is battling or has battled - hug them fiercely this year. If you are remembering a loved one that has been lost to this terrible disease - I am so sorry, there is a God that is loving on them like we can not fathom here.

Until next time,

Sami

So a sea of emotions doesn’t begin to describe the feelings I have watching this video. I felt love, blessings, gratefulness and inspiration mostly. But the rush of the fear and devastation I was feeling at the time some of these were taken is a bit overwhelming. I love you so much! 😘🙏🏻Thank you lord God for my baby’s cure!
